Who this notice covers
Mezban AI builds and operates websites, AI assistants, client workspaces and customer-channel integrations for businesses. This notice covers people who visit our platform, contact us, use an assistant, place an order or booking, or communicate with a business through a Mezban-managed integration.
A client business may also have its own privacy notice and may decide why customer information is used. In those cases Mezban AI processes information for that business under its instructions.
Information we process
Website visits
We may collect the page visited, event type, referral website, outreach code, coarse country or region, and pseudonymous visitor and network identifiers. Network identifiers are hashed before storage; we do not intentionally store raw IP addresses in platform analytics.
Enquiries, bookings and orders
When you submit a form or transact with a client business, we process the information you provide. This may include your name, contact details, business, requested service, delivery details, order information, notes and uploaded payment evidence.
AI conversations
We process the messages, call audio or transcripts needed to provide the assistant. Audio retention can be disabled. Transcript retention is controlled per client workspace and defaults to 90 days where enabled.
Instagram and other connected channels
When a business connects Instagram, we process its permitted account identifier and username, encrypted access credentials, message events and encrypted message content. We receive messages only after an Instagram user starts a conversation with the connected professional account.
Client accounts
We process client administrator email addresses, roles, workspace settings, audit history and service configuration so authorised people can manage their business.
How we use information
- Provide websites, assistants, bookings, orders and connected messaging.
- Answer enquiries and hand conversations to the relevant business.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits and diagnose failures.
- Measure aggregate service usage and improve reliability.
- Meet contractual, legal and regulatory obligations.
AI and knowledge drafts
AI is disclosed. Customer-facing assistants identify themselves as AI. Connected Instagram conversations may be grouped into private draft knowledge sources for the business owner to review.
Names and external account identifiers are excluded from those drafts. Drafts are not automatically published to the customer assistant.
Who receives information
We share information only where needed to operate the service, respond to you, support a client business, protect the platform or comply with law. Relevant providers may include Cloudflare for hosting and security, ElevenLabs for AI conversation services, and Meta or Instagram for connected messaging. A client business receives information submitted to that business.
These providers may process information in countries other than your own and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.
Retention and security
We use access controls, tenant separation, audit records and encryption for integration credentials and stored integration message content. We retain information only while it is needed for the relevant service, security, legal or operational purpose.
Client workspaces can set transcript and audio retention. When retained Instagram messages reach the configured retention period, their encrypted content is removed. Limited operational records may remain where needed for security, audit or legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the client business responsible for the conversation or transaction.
